Design Lab was founded to provide a complete strategy, analysis, design and art direction offering for original concepts and real estate development projects. The team is composed of professionals who, over the years, have gained varied experience working for international and prestigious clients.
Team members boast multidisciplinary skills, ranging from branding to interior design, and from engineering to communications.

ANALYSIS
Each project belongs to a local context, which dictates conditions, but is also influenced by a global scenario, guiding aspirations.
The research and study of the project’s origins, cultural and mood references, and the sociological and market situation, aid us in identifying the necessary choices and actions required to achieve the appropriate positioning.
VISION
Creative and strategic intuition.
We aim to define the physical expression of a brand, the transformation of a building or an area through the definition of its positioning and represented values, the storytelling and planning of all necessary actions to successfully make it a reality.
Projecting market awareness, sociological considerations, and economical and cultural trends into the near future, provides us with a base from which we are able to test the financial viability of any proposal. This work constitutes the seed of the project; the guideline is then further analyzed and refined in successive steps.
FEASIBILITY
The feasibility study is run as an integrated analysis based on master planning, architectural, functional and economic themes; each of these topics is invaluable to the correct project set up and necessary to build the foundation of a development process, which is both sustainable and in line with the Developer’s yield expectations.
Our Lab includes professionals with solid expertise in the financial evaluation of real estate projects and experience in drafting business plans.
DESIGN
The creation of a new concept design involves the meltdown of functional, expressive, graphic and physical features which, when synthesized, allow the detailed image of the final project to emerge.
In order to maintain the strength and coherence of the original vision, the project itself is either run or coordinated directly by
THINK / UNIQUE.
Over the years, the team has obtained relevant international design experience in different building types, together with the awareness that creativity and passion are as important in architecture as in engineering.
ART DIRECTION
The conception and coordination of all project expressions and communication tools, whether concept designs or more articulate RE developments, represent a paramount step as they are closely connected to individuals’ inner emotions and perceptions.
The end goal is achieved through a harmonious blending of graphic, visual and communication elements. Project guidelines emerge clearly; a brand language, distinguished through all domains of application, evokes the project’s identity and the experience offered.
OUTPUT
THINK / UNIQUE’s team members are accustomed to managing requests from Investors, Developers and Management Companies. They work to complete an incisive Design Report, an indispensable tool in the selection and involvement of the appropriate financial or management partners, necessary to generate a successful reaction in the market.

Vision, elegance, passion, understatement, subdued use of colours, materials, details and light are key to Laura Stecich’s design approach. When in charge of defining the architectural expression of a brand, Laura Stecich approaches the concept definition process with an in-depth analysis and market awareness to strategically inform the design and the appeal of a brand’s physical spaces.
The practice has been selected by international brands, such as Richmond and Husky, for the design of their locations worldwide, by Best Western to develop a new concept image for a range of Italian hotels.
